Food truck takes to the water in North Carolina

Not every food truck is on the road in North Carolina. One is operating on the water — Lake Norman to be exact, according to a WNCT report.

Matt Latino and his business partner Carter Watkins launched the Snack Barge this past Memorial Day weekend.

"Quite a few people have wanted this for a while, and we made it happen," Latino told the news outlet. "Everything that we did, a lot of thought was put into it."

The menu offers burgers, tacos, grilled cheese and even a New England-style hot dog.

In the near future the floating food truck enterprise will boast a pontoon for extra stability. When not on a body of water the food truck is trailered to local events.
