Food truck village in the works for South Carolina

A realtor and a restaurant owner in Greenville, South Carolina are teaming up to develop a food truck village.

The spot, which will be located at Mauldin Road and South Pleasantburgh Drive, will offer a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and will house eight to nine food trucks, according to an Upstate Business Journal report.

The venue, which is expected to open by late spring, is being launched by Hector Batista, co-owner of the Sofrito Restaurant, and realtor Jose Rodriguez to launch an unnamed food truck village.
