Greenville, South Carolina may be home to a food truck village if a local restaurant owner and a local realtor succeed with their mission.
Realtor Jose Rodriguez and Hector Batista, co-owner of the Sofrito Restaurant, aim to open the village at the corner of Mauldin Road and South Pleasantburg Drive, according to an Upstate Business Journal report.
Plans call for indoor and outdoor seating, a full-service bar, room for eight to nine food trucks, as well as live entertainment. The goal is to have the food truck village opened by mid-May.
