Food Truck Wednesday returns to Tulsa

The Food Truck Wednesday event is on in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The weekly event happens at the Guthrie Green and features a rotation of food trucks serving from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park, according to a KTUL report.

"We started doing Food Truck Wednesday about 10 years ago to get folks down to the arts district," Derek Combs, the program manager for the Guthrie Green, told the news outlet. "There weren't that many restaurants at the time, so we thought it was the perfect way to bring the community down in this area. But now we've seen that area flourish on the east and west side."

The event runs through October.
