Texans without power and clean water are finding food trucks in Austin to be a welcome sight.
One of the latest trucks serving in the community is Olaya, which offers Peruvian fare and which hands out hot meals and energy drinks to those in need, according to a Statesman report.
Local nonprofit group Del Valle Community Coalition deployed several Austin-based food trucks to help feed hungry residents recovering from the recent winter storm that wiped out power grids and is forcing homeowners to boil water.
