Multiple food trucks stepped up to offer free meals to laid-off workers at Tyson Foods in Joslin, Illinois, according to a report by KWQC. One of these food trucks was Knight's Pizza, which distributed free pizzas to the laid-off workers.

"I just think that there's more people looking out for them than they think or realize," Knight said in the report. "They did play a big role, and I know there's a lot more places that have reached out and will continue to reach out to offer their support to everybody that was laid off. I'm looking forward to seeing that as well."

The brand announced suddenly it would close its plant in Joslin and several other locations. Chicago law firm Strauss Borrelli PLLC is currently investigatingwhether Tyson violated the WARN Act, which requires that employers give employees 60 days' notice prior to a mass layoff or closure.
