Food trucks to help commemorate Atlanta subway system

Food trucks will be on hand when MARTA, the Atlanta, Georgia subway system, will hold a festival to commemorate 40 years of service on Sunday at the Avondale Administration Building parking lot at 2775 E. Ponce de Leon Avenue, according to an Atlanta Journal Constitution report.

The festival will follow a reception at 2 p.m. at the Georgia State Station at 170 Piedmont Avenue. 

Admission is free for the festival, which will feature local bands ping pong, a kids’ zone, a DJ and MARTA-themed gifts.
