FoodTruck ThrowDown comes to Harley-Davidson Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida on September 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Pensacola News-Journal. Presented by 3-D Eats & Tea, the event will raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwest Florida and the McArthur Elementary School PTA.
The competition at the event is two-fold, with contests for the trucks and for the diners.
Attendees will sign up in different categories, like turkey legs and pizza, for eating competitions. Winners will get medals and t-shirts.
Attendees will also choose their favorite food trucks, the winner of which will get the “Hunger Helm,” an airbrushed Harley helmet.
Participating trucks include 3D Eats & Tea, Joe's Caribe, Lonestar Kitchens, Wrighteous Eats, Street Treats, Belly Busters Foodwagon, Twisted and Corny, Chile Lindo, Hip Pocket Deli, I Luv Lemonade, Snow Biz Pensacola, Jordan Valley and Puglies Mexican Cuisine.
