Fort Myers, Florida approves food truck park

The Fort Myers Beach Town Council approved a food truck park for owners Debbie and Jamie Hotka. The space will have five spaces for food trucks, outdoor seating, bicycle racks, restrooms, a pad parking lot and a building to sell alcohol, according to a report by Beach Talk Radio News.

The venue will also have music at a maximum of three days a week. This was a point of contention among residents who were concerned about noise pollution.

The owners plan to open the venue by September 2026.
