Frios Gourmet Pops signs Texas franchise deal

There will be a Frios Gourmet Pops, aka Frios Sweet Ride, arriving in Aubrey, Texas this fall.

The mobile frozen dessert brand has signed a franchise agreement with local residents Manuel and Desiree Cordova, according to a press release.

"Throughout my career as a teacher and coach, and Desiree's career as an NICU nurse, we have been a part of many people's lives, sharing special moments and memories with them," Manuel Cordova said in the release. "We're thrilled to be able to continue to share moments of joy in our guests' major life accomplishments and create even more relationships with our friends and neighbors in Aubrey and the surrounding Denton and Collin County communities with our Frios business."

Each Frios owner, also known as a Happiness Hustler, pledges to donate and contribute to a local charitable partner upon rolling out a new Sweet Ride. The Cordovas will carry the tradition to lead goodwill initiatives in the Denton and Collin County by partnering with local churches, schools and other organizations to bring joy to anyone in need.
