Gainesville, Florida food truck rally to host 5th anniversary event

The Original Food Truck Rally will host its fifth anniversary in the parking lot of High Dive in Gainesville, Florida, on Saturday at 5 p.m., according to The Independent Florida Alligator.

The rally will feature 12 food trucks, live local music from Glory Presents and, for the first time, a silent disco in the beer garden with 200 headsets for $5 each. The rally will benefit Climb for Cancer Foundation, a local charity supporting Gainesville cancer patients.

Participants will vote for their favorite food truck by contributing Climb for Cancer Foundation donations to the food truck of their choice. The winning food truck will receive a gift from a sponsor.
