Generous stranger donates food truck after truck theft

After a television news show reported on a food truck being stolen in St. Peters, Missouri, a woman in Illinois came to the rescue.

The owner of El Mandilon, a food truck owned by the Balthazar family, talked to Fox 2, a news outlet, after their truck was stolen during Christmas 2023.

Now eight months later, thanks to the generosity of a stranger, the family is back serving up authentic Mexican fare, according to a Fox 2 news report.

"We were nervous cause we were surprised. She was just giving it to us and it was still in pretty good shape. Just needed some touch up. We were kind of nervous talking, because we've never had that happen to us," Rachel Balthazar told Fox 2.
