George Washington University expands food truck program

September 24, 2018

Food trucks will return to the George Washington University Science and Technology Campus for a second semester following a pilot program last semester, according to The GW Hatchet, a campus newspaper.

A food truck will visit the campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday this semester. The university is considering the addition of two additional days per week depending on demand.

Participating food trucks this semester have included Big Red Halal and Jambalaya Bros. More food trucks will be added, the report said.

The university promoted the food trucks on social media last spring, and with signs in campus buildings and on the VSTC shuttle.
