Georgia Bulldogs football rally to feature food trucks for first time

Frat Beach, the annual pre-game football rally held by University of Georgia before the Georgia Bulldogs take on the University of Florida Gators, will feature food trucks for the first time, according to a report by Red and Black, the University of Georgia student newspaper.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 27 — the Friday before the game — the first annual Georgia Florida Food Truck Rally will take place in conjunction with Frat Beach on St. Simon's Island.

Food trucks will be located in Coast Guard Park on the island near East Beach, a popular student hangout. Ten trucks, featuring a variety of food and beverage options, will be provided by a third- party organizer, the report said.
