Georgia city launches food truck pilot program

March 29, 2018

The city of Douglas, Georgia, is testing a pilot program for food trucks that permits trucks to operate in three downtown areas, according to WALB-TV.

Food trucks are required to secure approvals from the state department of health inspections and permits, as well as from any agency requiring documentation to provide food service. The food trucks must also possess proof that a mobile kitchen has been inspected and approved by the city’s building codes division.
