Georgia food truck operator opens restaurant

The owner of a Georgia food truck, called King Kabob, has made a longtime dream come true with the launch of a physical restaurant.

Chase Davis, a Conyers, Georgia resident, has been running a food truck for five years, following his college graduation. His restaurant, in Decatur, is called Kitchen at the King Kabob.

Davis recently appeared on the Food Network show, "Guy's Chance of a Lifetime," according to an Atlantic Journal-Constitution report.

The restaurant is an extension of the food truck and the menu is a variety of foods served on skewers, as well as main dishes including lamb chops and salad.

The food truck will remain operating and may be used as a mobile service bar next to the restaurant.
