Georgia town extends food truck operating hours

The Athens-Clarke County mayor and commission have approved an ordinance extending the operating hours for food trucks parked near City Hall in Athens, Georgia.

The new schedule allows food trucks to operate between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, to coincide with the closing times of local bars, according to The Red & Black.

The legislative review committee will continue to examine other expansions of food truck ordinances.
