Grand Victoria Casino to host food truck festival in Illinois

The Grand Victoria Casino will host its third annual Food Truck Fest 6-10 p.m. in Festival Park in downtown Elgin, Illinois, on Aug. 10, according to the Chicago Tribune. Last year's event drew 4,000 to 6,000 people, according to Marilou Pilman, interim marketing director for the casino.

Food trucks will include Auntie Vee's Desserts; Beaver's Donuts; Carnivale; Cheesie's; Chicago Lunchbox; Cook's Ice Cream; Cookies with Flavor; The Cookout On Wheels; Crust Culture; Flying Tacos; Giordano's; Grumpy Gaucho; Harold's Chicken; Kate and Jan's Hot Dogs; Kona Ice; La Cocinita; Lucy's; Perk N Pickle; Pierogi Wagon; Piko Street Kitchen; A Sweets Girl Cupcakes; Wok N Roll by Bamboo; and Yum Dum.

At 11 p.m., the casino and radio station 101.9 will hold a "Big Eats in the Big Easy" drawing. Prizes will include a trip for two to attend the Asheville, North Carolina Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival on Oct. 6, and three trips for two to New Orleans.
