Great Food Truck Race nearing finale episode

The Great Food truck Race series, in which food truck operators are given challenges and winners are those who are tops in food sales, is coming to its season finale.

The most current episode, airing this week on Food Network, was shot at the Palm Springs Tramsway in late June, according to a Desert Sun report.

The show is hosted by chef Tyler Florence and the season's winner gets $50,000

The current episode involved having teams make a salad inside a rotating tram car. The finale will air on April 23.
