Green Bay Tarlton Theatre to add food trucks

The Tarlton Theater in Green Bay, Wisconsin will add live outdoor music and a spot for food trucks. Owner Tarl Knight says that a weekly concert series will run through September, with food trucks to come later, according to a report by ABC 2.

"By attracting people with some live music to our downtown, we'll continue to see investment in all of the business, including the Tarlton Theater," Knight said in the report. "That's part of the goal here. When, in our downtown, we have a vacant lot that's undeveloped, that's a problem we want to fix."

The area will also feature a two-story bar overlooking the venue.

"What we want to do is build an urban food truck park destination that almost every major city in the United States has. We're gonna be able to invite people of all ages, their families, their pets, out to enjoy some of the food truck offerings that Green Bay and the Fox Valley have to offer, including a lot of live music, and all of it free," Knight said.
