Halal Mexican food truck coming to Houston

Houston will soon have its own halal Mexican food truck with Trippin Taco. Founder Ahmad Kilani will provide halal Angus beef with birria tacos, nachos, tamales and ramen bowls, according to a press release.
"We've spent months perfecting every recipe to bring authentic Mexican flavors with our own halal twist. Houston has such an incredible food scene and we can't wait to share this new concept with the community," Kilani said in the release.
The food truck will hold its grand opening on Nov. 8-9, featuring free food and discounts, including:
- First 150 guests will receive a free birria combo.
- 50% off for all guests.
- Prize wheel for merch, gift cards.
- Taco eating contest.
