Hermiston, Oregon, will open a food truck park, owned by Jim Ruhe. He came up with the idea when Clint Spencer, city planner, said a property he was looking into purchasing would be ideal for a food truck park, according to a report by East Oregonian.

The park will be located on 1.55 acres on Tamarack Avenue and will be called Sizzle City. There are currently 10 food truck vendors looking to set up in the park, and Ruhr plans to have between 25 to 30 vendors in total.

The park will also feature an event center and a 35-foot outdoor movie screen. Ruhr said the project will cost around $1.4 million in total, with plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in July.
