High school assignment: Create food trucks based on English lit

You know food trucks are gaining widespread favor when your high school English teacher assigns you to study them.

Looking to motivate her students, Jennifer Thomas, a teacher at LSA High School in Decatur, Illinois, gave them the assignment of coming up with ideas for a food truck using themes from books they had read for her class, according to the Herald&Review.

Thomas divided the students into groups and had each decide which piece of literature they would use to help design a food truck. The students were also required to develop branding and advertising ideas for the trucks.
