Hilton Head Island to host its first Food Truck Friday

The Island Rec Center on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, will hold its first Food Truck Friday today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring four local food trucks, according to a report in The Island Packet. The monthly event is intended to demonstrate Island Rec's $14 million building at 20 Wilborn Road, which opened in January.

The four food trucks are Papa Wheelie's Smoked Meats and Eats, The Rolling Cow Creamery, Taco Brown and Palmetto Pops.

The next Food Truck Fridays will be held Sept. 13, Oct. 11 and Nov. 1.
