Home Chef to begin 20-city food truck tour

Home Chef, a meal kit provider, will begin a 20-city food truck tour on March 2 at Mariano's in Wheaton, Illinois, according to CBS Chicago. The truck will serve food 1-3 p.m. in Wheaton before moving to Hoffman Estates on March 3 and Arlington Heights on March 4.

Juliana Zobrist, the wife of Chicago Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist, will host the launch of the tour.

Maris Callahan of Home Chef said the company will donate one meal to Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, for every photo posted to social media from the truck tagged with #dinnertonight @realhomechef between March 1 and Aug. 18. Home Chef will donate up to 100,000 meals.
