Hoodline lists Milwaukee’s 5 top most affordable food trucks

If you live in Milwaukee or happen to visit, Hoodline has selected the city’s top five most affordable food trucks. Hoodline used both Yelp data and its own "secret sauce" to produce the list, according to Yahoo News.

Topping the list is Tacos El Charrito Truck located at 3812 West Burnham St. in Burnham Park, boasting five stars out of 20 reviews on Yelp. Tacos El Charrito Truck offers taco meats including pork, chicken, steak and sausage. It also offers quesadilla, burrito, tostadas and more.

The runner up is Walker's Point's Mazorca Tacos at 209 South First St. with 4.5 stars out of 58 Yelp reviews, specializing in tacos, including a vegetarian or vegan taco option. The menu also has chips and guacamole or chips and salsa.

Coming in at No. 3 is Schlitz Park's Roll MKE at 100 Manpower Place, grabbing five Yelp stars out of 14 reviews. The truck serves a variety of sandwiches, including pulled pork with barbecue sauce, short ribs, grilled cheese and a beef burger with homemade sauce.

The No. 4 food truck is Marco Pollo at 1125 North Ninth St., a food truck and caterer and a Tex-Mex spot in Westown, nabbing 4.5 stars out of 18 Yelp reviews. Marco Pollo features crispy chicken with Tex-Mex style topped with homemade queso.

Last, but not least, is Taqueria Buenavista Food Truck at 3101-3173 South Chase Ave., winning four stars out of 35 Yelp reviews, featuring a variety of Mexican cuisine dishes including steak tacos, quesadilla, nachos and more.
