Hoodline reports top 5 food trucks in Charlotte

Hoodline has released what it considers the five top food trucks in Charlotte, based on Yelp data and our own "secret sauce," according to Yahoo News. The top five trucks are:

1. Rico's Acai

Located at 510 S. College St. in Uptown Charlotte, the food truck offers acai bowls and boasts four stars out of 124 reviews on Yelp.

2. Fresh Med Mediterranean Fusion Food Truck

Located at 3500 Latrobe Drive, Fresh Med Mediterranean Fusion Food Truck earned five stars out of 17 reviews on Yelp.

3. Tacos Don Sammy

Located at 6020 Wilkinson Blvd. at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Yelpers gave the Mexican food truck 4.5 stars out of 31 reviews.

4. JP Food To Go

Located at 2626 Little Rock Road, JP Food To Go, featuring Thai and Laotian fare, earned 4.5 stars out of 21 Yelp reviews. 

5. Plato Pronto

Located at 5800 A Brookshire Blvd. in Biddleville, Plato Pronto, featuring Mexican food, earned five stars out of 10 reviews on Yelp.
