Hot dogs popular with Irvine's food truck fans

Hot dogs are popular in Irvine, California, so it's no surprise that two of the top four rated food trucks specialize in the traditional street food, according to Hoodline, which rates trucks based on Yelp reviews and its own "secret sauce."

But that doesn't mean the residents don't also have multinational palates, as the other two most popular food trucks offer foreign menus, as reported by msn.com.

Dogzilla, which specializes in hot dogs, at 16221 Construction Circle West in the business district, took top honors, grabbing 4.5 stars out of 620 Yelp reviews.

Runner up was Nostimo Greek Mediterranean Cuisine on Wheels, specializing in Greek and Mediterranean fare, at 16221 Construction Circle W, also in the business district, with 4.5 stars out of 73 Yelp reviews.

Dogge Depot Catering Co., offering hot dogs and more at 2041 Business Center Drive, came in third place with five stars out of 14 Yelp reviews. 

Cruisin Fusion, at 1100 Synergy, which offers flavors from around the world sourced from local markets, came in fourth place with four stars out of 24 Yelp reviews.
