The Eatsie Boys food truck, which has been serving the Houston, Texas area for 11 years, closed down the day after Christmas.
Chef and co-owner Matt Marcus said several reasons prompted the shuttering, including the hard job of finding help and supply chain issues, according to a Culture Map Houston report.
"We're just hemorrhaging money at this point," Marcus told the news outlet. "The proper business decision, although it's my baby and I would have kept it going forever, I just can't do it at this point."
The truck was initially founded by Marcus, Ryan Soroka and Alex Vassilakidis, featuring gourmet sandwiches.
Three years after its founding the owners opened a café that closed two years later.
