Houston food truck feeds TSA agents working without pay due to government shutdown

January 18, 2019

A nonprofit group, "Doing Our Part," fed TSA agents at Bush Intercontinental Airport on Thursday, according to a report from KHOU-TV.

The organization's food truck, which normally feeds hungry kids during school breaks, served 300 lunches on Thursday to TSA agents who are showing up to work despite not getting paid due to the government shutdown.

Volunteers said they plan to serve lunches again next week.
