Houston food trucks offer discounts to support food bank donations

The Houston Food Truck Association is teaming with KHOU-TV to drive donations to the Houston Food Bank to fight child hunger, according to a KHOU-TV report. 

People who visit any participating food trucks from now through Aug. 11 can text to donate to the food bank and receive $2 off their purchase at a participating truck. Every dollar donated can provide three full meals to a family in need, according to the report.

Trucks include: Black Market Burritos; CoffeeQ, D'Lish Curbside; El Topo; Food Music Life; Foreign Policy; Luv Me Tenders; NOLA Poboys; Nom Mi Street; Rich Boy Po'Boy; Rocos Grill & Smokehouse; Smoothie Strong; Snochefs; Tu-Go Kitchen; The Waffle Bus; and Wokker Food Truck.
