Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with husband-and-wife Andrew and Anju Lynn to bring five locations to Florida, marking the brand's entry into the Sunshine State.

The first store will open by year's end in Sarasota with other locations following in Tampa, Saint Petersburg, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, according to a company press release. The Lynns will also launch a Wow Wow food truck, which will start visiting events in August up and down the West Coast of Florida.

With backgrounds in promotional marketing and hospitality management, as well as experience in working with franchisors through their existing marketing and promotional business, Xplor Inc., the couple said it was drawn to Wow Wow's dedication to sustainability, its ideals for protecting the environment and the company's mission, according to the release.

Wow Wow specializes in made-from-craft gourmet lemonades — ranging from a classic lemonade to flavors like the Ginger Pineapple, Passionfruit Guava, Blue Hawaii and the Lava Flow Lemonade. Committed to sustainability, the chain serves lemonades and smoothies from Mason Jars and gives discounts to customers who bring the jars back for reuse.

The chain, which is looking for additional franchisees in Florida and the East Coast, was founded in Hawaii in 2012, and now has eight lemonade stands domestically and two internationally.
