Illinois fire department proposes fire safety rules for food trucks

The fire department of Edwardsville, Illinois, is proposing fire safety rules for food trucks.

The ordinance would establish fire safety guidelines, according to a report by The Intelligencer.

The proposal would include announced and unannounced fire inspections, restrictions on parking near fire access roads, vehicles and hydrants, and a requirement not to operate within 10 feet of any building.
