Illinois restaurant owners want food truck regulations

Restaurant and bar owners in LaSalle, Illinois, are asking the city council to enact regulations regarding food trucks.

In a letter to the council the owners said the trucks need rules regarding operation given the constrains restaurants are dealing with in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to a News Tribune report.

Currently there are no regulations regarding food truck operation in city limits beyond a permit requirement and health and safety rules.
