Illinois village believes food trucks will improve annual summer event

Barrington, Illinois lawmakers believe food trucks could enhance its annual summer Cruise Night, according to the Daily Herald. One trustee, Jim Daluga, went as far as to suggest changing the name from Cruise Night to Food Truck Night. 

Owners and fans of custom cars and hot rods from the village and beyond have gathered in the BMO Harris Bank parking lot for the past 14 seasons in downtown Barrington. The event last year included food and ice cream vendors, prizes and entertainment.
