Iowa city gets a food truck park

Iowa's first food truck park is now open in Ames, according to a KCCI report.

The park, open each day for lunch, was organized by Community Choice Credit Union. The park hosted more than half a dozen trucks at its location on Lincoln Way on opening day.

"Community Choice, we act a little bit different, and we want our people to experience what banking is all about," Josh Cook, with Community Choice Credit Union, told the news outlet. "It's not just going into an office and getting a mortgage or credit card. We can certainly do it. It's about this. It's about community. It's not only in our name. It's what we believe in."
