Iowa food truck park open for business

The first-ever food truck park in Iowa is now serving guests daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Ames.

Opening day drew about 500 foodies and six trucks serving up their fare, according to an Iowa State Daily report.

The park, called Food Truck Parc, initially began development in April 2020 and is run by the Community Choice Credit Union. It has four truck spots and offers free electricity and water.

Trucks can serve for three days.
