The Cuban Street Café food truck, now operating in Ames, Iowa, is all about paying homage to the Cuban heritage.
It's run by Willie Fonseca and his son, Anthony, and serves up its fare in the Lowe's parking lot on Airport Road, according to an Ames Tribune report.
Willie Fonseca and his family moved to the United States from Cuba when he was three years old, and his son, Anthony, was born in Orlando, Florida.
"I was raised here, but my parents are Cuban. Some of the recipes we use are my mom's," Willie Fonseca told the news outlet. "And some are Anthony''s — a few of his own recipes that he's developed."
The truck offers breakfast items and lunch.
