Yossef's Laffa-Milia food truck will be opening its first physical restaurant in the Owings Mills suburb of Baltimore, Maryland.
The Israeli food truck offers a variety of Israeli cuisine such as falafel, shawarma, schnitzel, fried eggplant and other items, according to a report by Jewish Times.
The food truck and restaurant are family owned and are named after the father Yosseff Shavi. The family chose the Owings Mills location instead of the Jewish suburb of Pikesville to meet local demand.
"Especially since we closed the food truck in preparation for about a month or so, people from the community have asked us when we are opening," Alona Shavi, Yossef's son and co-owner, told the news outlet. "Everybody's just been so excited and we share in that excitement. I don't think people even realize how excited we are and how grateful we are to be here. It's incredible."
