A dream borne from pandemic boredom, and which took two years to make a reality, is how a cookie food truck arrived in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Owner and operator Destiny Smith has launched The Cavity Factory food truck, which offers a variety of cookies on its menu, and serves from parking lots on Keystone, Mass Avenue and Broad Ripple, according to a WRTV report.

"I feel good. It's my dream," Smith told the news outlet. "It's like it makes me feel good — calms me down. When I'm baking, it's just me and the sweets, that's it."

Smith began baking at home during the COVID-19 pandemic and initially considered opening a physical store. But then went the food truck path. But now she's back to possibly launching a retail location.
