It's all about frozen fruit for a NJ food truck

There's a food truck on a New Jersey pier offering cool treats just in time for summer.

The truck, called Amanda Bananas, offers health-focused treats as an alternative to the typical summer offerings of ice cream and milkshakes, according to a Fox News report.

The truck is owned and run by Steven DiPasquale and his wife Amanda and can be found on Pier 13 in Hoboken.

"We started Amanda Bananas on July 4, 2012, day one of Pier 13, with the fireworks on the Hudson, as a side business for the both of us," Steven DiPasquale told the news outlet.

Amanda Bananas offers items from 100% fruit which are nut-free, dairy-free and gluten-free.
