It's all about the corn for an Alabama food truck

One of the newest food trucks in Birmingham, Alabama got its start because a local couple went in search of vegan food truck fare and there was none to be found at local festivals, concerts or at food truck weekly events.

So Phillip Powell and his wife Avrie launched Aww Shucks, a food truck focused on fire roasted corn — offering everything from creamy lemon pepper to flaming hot and Mexican street corn, according to a CBS42.com report.

Aww Shucks is all about fare for the vegan lifestyle, offering up vegan sauces and seasoning.

"We wanted to give something clean to people," Avrie Powell told the news outlet.
