The Jacksonville, North Carolina City Council has voted to repeal three parts of its food truck ordinance, which was the cause of a three-year lawsuit between several food truck owners and the city, according to a report by WITN.

Previously, food trucks couldn't operate within 250 feet of restaurants and they couldn't use commercial signs. Food trucks also had to pay $300 per year for residents and $500 for non residents.

The Institute for Justice said it will continue the lawsuit to ensure these rules don't return.
