Japan food truck offers up Mexican fare

Those living in Tokyo who happen to love authentic Mexican street tacos are likely already familiar with the Tacos 3hermanos food truck.

The owner, Furuya Yamato, literally and physically left Japan and travelled to Mexico to learn the art of taco and bring it home, according to a CNN report.

Some weekends find him creating 3,000 tortillas.

Yamato believes Mexican food truck cuisine is tied to his "ikigai," a Japanese philosophy of committing to a life's purpose.

"(When) I wake up I need to make tacos, I want to make tacos," he told the news outlet. "I want to share my tacos with people. This is my life now. This is my ikigai."
