Kat Cole, COO and president, North America of FOCUS Brands — parent company of Jamba, Carvel, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill, Auntie Anne's, and McAlister's Deli — will keynote the annual Restaurant Franchising and Innovation Summit, March 16-18 in Atlanta.
"We are honored to have such an industry icon headlining RFIS 2020," said Cherryh Cansler, VP of editorial at Networld Media Group, the summit's producer and parent company of FastCasual, QSRWeb, Pizza Marketplace and Food Truck Operator.
Cole will share personal and professional lessons in business growth, innovation and leadership.
"I'm looking forward to connecting with other franchise professionals and sharing best practices that help us operate better businesses, be stronger leaders, and make positive contributions to our industry and community," Cole said in email to Fast Casual.
RFIS brings together executives from the restaurant industry to explore how franchises and franchisees can leverage innovation in a variety of ways — from customer experience innovation to kitchen and menu innovation and beyond — as a catalyst for franchise expansion, said Cansler, who is developing the agenda.
"It's all about learning from one another," she said.
