The Lady Bugs Fritters and Fries aims to do more than serve up tasty poutine, burgers and sweet treats.
Today, while parked outside a local TV outlet, WBKO in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the truck will also serve up a charitable donation to the Barren River Child Advocacy Center, according to a WBKO report.
Owner Jennifer Stafford will donate all of today's proceeds to the organization and the TV station will be accepting teddy bear donations for the center as well.
"People that come out and support my truck have all dealt with different things throughout their life," Stafford told the news outlet. "So if for me, it means helping out the homeless or child abuse, or helping out the women's shelter, any of those events are great for me because I do enjoy giving back."
Stafford is also organizing a food truck and craft fair event that will take place at the SoKy Fairgrounds on May 21, 22, and 23.
