La Pequenita, a food truck in Knoxville, Tennessee received six violations during a health code inspection. It received a score of 70, which is one point above failing grade, according to a report by WATE.
Of note, the inspector discovered spoiled lettuce, tomatoes, and radishes along with brown water in the sanitizer. In addition, food was stored at improper temperatures, with shredded lettuce stored at 64 degrees and chicken stored at 59 degrees.
However, after making his suggestions, the food truck was able to correct all its violations and received an updated score of 95.
