Ralphs is suing around half a dozen food trucks in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. The company accuses the food trucks of causing littering, dangerous traffic and crowds that "attack each other and verbally abuse Ralphs employees," according to a report by ABC 7.
The store initially sent a letter to Gracias Senor and other food trucks in November forbidding them from entering Ralphs and Food 4 Less locations. Since then, the food trucks asked customers not to park in the Ralphs lots.
Rodolfo Barrientos, owner of Gracias Senor said he has received a lot of support from the community during this.
"I've received an incredible amount of support from our regular customers, which really is what keeps me driven," Barriento said in the report.
Ralphs did seek a restraining order against the food trucks, but a judge denied that motion.
