Las Mexicanas Food Truck cuts through with machete shaped tacos

Las Mexicanas Food Truck recently opened in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Its current claim to fame are its long corn tortillas called machetes due to their resemblance to blades, according to a report by Sioux Falls Business.

The grilled machetes have meat, beans, rice and cheese. There are a variety of meat options such as chicken, asada, picadillo, as well as vegetarian choices like cactus, roasted potatoes and nopales.

"We wanted to do something different, the most authentic, different than other areas," owner Alondra Jimenez, said in the report.

The food truck also offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tortas.
