Aleyda Romero, Efraen Fuentes and Joshua Breitner are bringing their love of Latin cuisine to their hometown in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

The trio has launched a food truck, called Cocina Lupita, in the lot of the former Wilson's department store, according to a Greenfield Recorder report.

The three owners worked together at a local restaurant. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic was the catalyst for launching the truck as was the fact there was no real Latino eatery in the area.

"We wanted to bring all the Latino flavors to the people of Greenfield," Fuentes told the news outlet. "We wanted to be part of the variety of options that are in Greenfield."

The truck serves up traditional El Salvadoran cuisine including pupusas and pastelitos.
